The Latest:
10/4/96: Station One receives GAR Top Honors
Again, many thanks to our visitors and to Mission Control, without either of which we could never have gotten this far.
Incidentally, as the popularity of Station One continues to grow, the strain on our servers continues to increase. We will soon be announcing the existance of a secret project which High Command has been working on in another quadrant.
10/1/96: Texture Station Honored by Microsoft!
Maintaining a website which receives around 3 million "hits" per day, employees of the Microsoft Network (http://www.msn.com/) must excercise great scrutiny when selecting links to display on their pages; the quality of their links reflect their own professional image.
Following this logic, Station One's own Texture Station is greatly honored, indeed, to have been chosen by the Microsoft Network as a Pick of the Week for October 2nd to 8th, 1996.
Much of the credit for this achievement belongs to Station One visitors like you, who give us feedback and help us to never be satisfied with our work. We will continue in our commitment to bring to the world the utmost quality possible.
9/10/96: Station Retrofit -- Round Two Complete!
If you have not come through our "front door," please do so now! You should be quite delighted. We now have an interface for providing the latest Station info updates at all times. More importantly, we have put online background music for your listening enjoyment, coded separately for Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer browsers. The selection of midi files used for the background music is merely a taste of the Mega MIDI Depot, coming to our Music Station later this year.
