Product design & HTML overhaul

I began my work at QUIQ leading a small UI team on minor feature development, but ended up assuming full control of design and layout, while working very closely with other departments on workflow. The application's HTML & CSS code was plagued by "too many cooks in the kitchen" syndrome and the button image style was outdated. I developed new standards & templates for images, reordered & led the full documentation of the hefty CSS files, and developed and applied HTML standards with the help of a standardized "HTML Toolbox," a chest of building blocks of well-formed code. Every user-facing page was rewritten.

	Application homepage. A user either browses through the lower category selections, or enters a question/query and proceeds.
	First tier "guided search" results page with very descriptive text & simple steps to aid the user's effective use of the system.
	Second-tier "advanced search" results page with guided search steps hidden, additional search options expanded.
	Assuming the user did not find the answer they needed, they would then proceed to post their question to the community.
